On Friday December 26th Deputy Minor arrested Steven E. Costello and charged him with Burglary 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree after breaking in a residence on Wildcat Road. Deputy Kinslow responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on Park City Glasgow Road. Deputy Wilson responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Deputy Branham transported Loren Dale Huddleston from Henderson County Jail to Barren County Jail.

On Saturday December 27th Deputy Wilson arrested Cessaley A. Holley for Assault 4th degree. Deputy Runyon arrested Ashley D. Holley for Assault 4th degree. Deputy Walden investigated a single vehicle injury accident on Hiseville Road. Deputy Walden responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident on Cedar View Drive.

On Sunday December 28th Deputy Kinslow investigated a one vehicle injury accident on Mammoth Cave Road.

On Monday December 29th Deputy Clark arrested Katrina D. Jarvis on a Barren County warrant for Probable Cause-Probation Violation. Deputy Clark also arrested Janice Hall on a Barren Co. warrant for Criminal Trespassing 1st degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd degree and Harassment. Deputy Walden arrested Derek M. Wilson for Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 3rd offense, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree (motor vehicle), Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd offense and Possession of Marijuana. Deputy Branham transported Amanda Eversole from Allen Co. Jail to Barren Circuit Court and then returned Eversole back to Allen County Jail.

On Tuesday December 30th Deputy Minor arrested Michael A. Pierce and Jeremy N. Woodcock both were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursors 1st offense, Knowingly Possesses Anhydrous Ammonia unapproved container with intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree and Drug Paraphernalia 2nd offense. Pierce was also charged with Carless Driving. Deputy Wilson responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on New Bowling Green Road. Deputy Clark arrested Jeanna A. Whitfield on a Barren County warrant for Failure to Pay. Deputy Branham transported a female juvenile from Warren County Juvenile Center to Barren Family Court.

On Wednesday December 31st Deputy Kinslow investigated a single vehicle injury accident on Finney Road. Deputy Clark arrested Broda M. Fleener on a Barren Co. warrant for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle 1st offense. Deputy Wood arrested Gene C. Johnson on a Barren Co. Warrant for Contempt of Court.

On Thursday January 1st Deputy Clark arrested Lawrence W. Albright on an Adair Co. warrant for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree-1st offense (Cocaine). On Saturday December 13th Deputy Minor arrested Michael T. Richardson after a single vehicle accident on Coral Hill Road. Richardson was taken to TJ Samson Hospital by Barren/Metcalfe EMS for treatment of injuries, upon release he was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs (aggravated) 1st offense, Expired Registration Receipt, Expired Registration Plate and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. Deputy McCown investigated a single vehicle injury accident on Lecta Kino Road. Deputy Minor served a Hardin County Warrant on Joshua U. Lessenberry for Contempt of Court. On Monday December 15th Deputy Clark arrested Kenneth R. Lewis on a Barren County Warrant for Contempt of Court. On Thursday December 18th Deputy Clark arrested Richard D. Cross Jr. on a Barren Co. Warrant for Failure to Abide by Drug Court Conditions. On Friday December 19th Deputy Runyon served a Barren County Indictment Warrant on Simon L. Napier for Assault 3rd degree, Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd degree, Terroristic Threatening 3rd degree and Resisting Arrest. Deputy Runyon served a Barren County Indictment Warrant on Terry M. Perkins for Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 2nd offense and Persistent Felony Offender. Deputy McCown arrested Douglas L. Groce on a Barren County Warrant for Probation Violation. Deputy Kinslow served a Clinton County Warrant on Anthony M. Garrett for Failure to Appear. Court Security Deputy Walbert arrested James P. Moore for Alcohol Intoxication 1st offense.

On Saturday December 20th Deputy Runyon Served a Barren County Indictment Warrant on Brandon L. Sturgeon for Assault 4th degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, Criminal Trespassing 1st degree and Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. Deputy McCown arrested James B. Harper for Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle Prohibited, Driving DUI Suspended License 3rd offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 4th offense (aggravated). Deputy Minor investigated a single vehicle non-injury accident on Oak Hill School Road.

On Sunday December 21st Deputy Clark arrested Benjamin W. Lowe on a Barren County Indictment Warrant for Fraudulent Insurance Acts over $300 and Defrauding a Secured Creditor over $100. Deputy Minor responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident on Bethel Church Road.

On Monday December 22nd Deputy Clark arrested Sherri J. Harlow on a Barren County Indictment Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking (2 counts). Deputy McCown responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident on Roseville Road. Deputy Wilson transported Ricky Whited from Warren County Jail to Barren Circuit Court and then returned him to Warren County Jail.

On Tuesday December 23rd Deputy Minor responded to a two vehicle injury accident on Burkesville Road. Deputy McCown responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on Buck Creek Road.

On Wednesday December 24th Deputy Minor responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on J Brown Road.

On Thursday December 25th Sheriff Eaton arrested John J. Huber for Assault 4th degree, Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree. Smith on a Barren County warrant for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Endangering Welfare of a Minor. Deputy Runyon also arrested Ura A. Yoder on a Barren County warrant for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday December 7th Deputy Minor arrested Lindsay E. Craig on a Barren County warrant for Contempt of Court. Deputy Kinslow responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on Nobob Road.

On Monday December 8th Deputy Minor responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on Tompkinsville Road. Deputy Runyon served a Barren County warrant on Michael Herzog for harassing communication. Deputy Branham transported Jenna Jewell from Hart County Jail to Barren Circuit Court and then returned her to Hart County Jail.

On Tuesday December 9th Deputy Minor arrested Kevin L. Wheeler on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to pay. Deputy Runyon located a missing juvenile on Tompkinsville Road. On Wednesday December 10th Deputy Runyon responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on North Jackson Highway. Deputy Runyon arrested Darrell G. Bragg on a Barren County warrant for probation violation. Deputy Minor arrested Jacob W. Gipson on a Barren Co. warrant for contempt of court.

On Wednesday December 3rd Deputy Runyon arrested Tiffani Ethridge on a Barren Co. warrant for theft by unlawful taking over $300 (purse snatching) and receiving stolen property under $300. He also served a Monroe Co. warrant on her for Probation Violation.

On Thursday December 4th Deputy Runyon arrested John Tyler on a fugitive warrant from Louisiana for Probation Violation. Deputy Clark arrested Crystal Smith on a Barren County Indictment warrant for assault 3rd degree to police, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Deputy Branham transported a female juvenile from Warren Co. Juvenile Center to Barren Juvenile Court and then returned her to Warren Co. Juvenile Center.

REPORT FROM NOVEMBER 25, 2008

On Friday November 21st Deputy Minor responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on Beaver Creek Boat Ramp Road, around 7:00 p.m. After the driver of a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, was west bound on Beaver Creek Boat Ramp Road, but thought he was east bound. The driver then realized the roadway ended in water, but could not get stopped in time and continued into the lake. Alcohol was not a factor in this accident. Deputy Wood arrested Joshua Payne on an Allen Co. warrant for assault 4th degree (domestic violence) minor injury and unlawful imprisonment 1st degree. Deputy Runyon arrested Jeffrey Harlow on a Barren County warrant for probation violation. Deputy Wilson arrested Amy Stout after a vehicle accident on New Salem Rd. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol 1st offense, operating a vehicle with expired operator's license and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance. Detective Ann Phelps investigated a two-vehicle non-injury accident on Lick Branch Rd. Deputy Walden responded to a one-vehicle non-injury accident on Austin Tracy Rd. car vs. deer. On Monday November 24th Deputy Clark arrested Hans Teal on a Hart County warrant for failure to pay and then released him to Hart County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Runyon arrested Cory Shaw and Eli Mayes and charged them both with theft by unlawful taking from auto over $300 (2 counts), unlawful transaction with a minor 2nd degree, and criminal littering (2 counts). Deputy Clark arrested Simon Napier for assault 3rd degree (police), resisting arrest, terroristic threatening 3rd degree (7 counts), fleeing or evading police on foot 1st offense and failure to comply with sex offender registration, along with a Barren Co. warrant for assault 4th degree and terroristic threatening 3rd degree. Deputy Minor responded to a one vehicle non-injury accident on New Bowling Green Rd. car vs. deer. Deputy Clark arrested Lora Shofner on a Barren Co. warrant for failure to abide by Drug Court rules and regulations. Deputy Clark also arrested William Brad Thomas on two Barren Co. warrants both for failure to pay or appear. Deputy Minor arrested Joshua Short on a Barren Co. and Hart Co. warrant, both for contempt of court. Deputy Minor responded to a one vehicle non-injury accident on Old Bowling Green Rd. car vs. deer. Deputy Wilson responded to a car fire on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Deputy Clark served two Barren Co. warrants on Joshua Short one for failure to report to jail and the other for failure to pay. Deputy Clark arrested Anthony Mosby on a Barren Co. warrant for failure to obey a division of unemployment insurance subpoena. Deputy Runyon took a report on Lillians Lane due to a burglary, where guns and a computer were stolen.

On Thursday November 20th Deputy Wilson served a Barren Co. warrant on Joshua Short for failure to pay. Deputy Wilson arrested William D. Smith on a Barren Co. warrant for contempt of court. Deputy Runyon arrested Jeremy Scott for public intoxication (controlled substance), possession of controlled substance 1st degree-2nd offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia 1st degree, along with a Barren Co. warrant for probation violation. Deputy Clark arrested Tonya Deckard on four Barren Co. warrants two for theft by deception under $300 and two for failure to appear, he also served an Allen Co. warrant on Deckard for failure to appear. The Barren County Sheriff's Office is investigating multiple burglaries which have taken place in Barren Co. this past week. Early Saturday morning October 18th sometime around 2:30, person(s) made entry into Garrett's Grocery and took an undisclosed amount of cash and sometime on October 22nd several guns and a TV was taken from a residence on Bishop Road. Anyone with information on either of these burglaries is urged to call the Sheriff's Tip Line at 646-8771.

Sunday-August 17th-Deputy Minor investigated a single vehicle accident on Burkesville Road. Deputy Runyon arrested Ronald Butcher and charged him with Disorderly Conduct. Runyon responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Carden Road. Runyon took a report of criminal mischief on Bishop Road. Sunday-July 13th-Deputy Runyon and Sheriff Eaton arrested a juvenile that had escaped from deputies in Simpson County. The juvenile was found in a building in the Railton community. The juvenile was also charged in connection with several thefts over the weekend in Barren County. Deputy Wilson investigated a one-vehicle accident on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway.
