On Friday January 14 Deputy Houchens arrested and charged Joshua L. Ramsey with disregarding a stop sign, reckless driving and operating on suspended or revoked operators license. Deputy McCown arrested Michael P. Harvey on a Barren County warrant for harassment.
On Saturday January 15 Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Zackary L. Staples with third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking under $10,000, third-degree criminal mischief, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle) and first-degree wanton endangerment (police officer). Deputy Bennett arrested and charged David D. Dugard with third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking under $10,000 and third-degree criminal mischief. Deputy Houchens arrested Jewell E. Mendoza on three Hart County warrants all for theft by deception and one Edmonson County warrant for contempt of court-failure to appear. Deputy Wyatt arrested Karen R. House on a Hart County warrant for theft by deception.
On Sunday January 16 Deputy Wyatt arrested and charged Christopher M. Maysey with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. Deputy Wyatt served a Barren County warrant on Brandon D. Rigsby for contempt of court-failure to appear, Rigsby was also served a Jefferson County warrant for second-degree forgery and theft by unlawful taking.
On Monday January 17 Deputy Sponhouse arrested and charged Jeremy S. Nay with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Houchens served a Barren County warrant on Phillip W. Ford for fourth-degree assault and theft by unlawful taking (auto).
On Tuesday January 18 Deputy Runyon arrested and charged Steven T. Craine with theft by unlawful taking over $500. Deputy Runyon arrested Justin N. Boyd on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court. Deputy Wood arrested and charged Jorge Moncada with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. Deputy Bennett arrested Tamisha I. Carter on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court. Carter was also served two Hart County warrants both for probation violation.
On Wednesday January 19 Deputy Wilson served two Warren County warrants on Christopher J. Brown both for contempt of court. Deputy McCown served an Adair County warrant on Larry G. Harris, Jr. for contempt of court. Deputy Houchens arrested Sean L. Shirley on a Hart County warrant for flagrant non-support.
On Thursday January 20 Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Darryl A. Galloway for fourth-degree assault. Deputy Wilson served a Harrison County warrant on James O'Neal Cox, Jr. for contempt of court-failure to appear.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to sixteen wrecks during the week, twelve of those being non-injury and four resulting with injuries.
