REPORT FROM DECEMBER 16, 2010

On Friday December 10 Deputy Wilson arrested James C. Roney on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to pay or appear. Deputy Wilson arrested Joseph L. Jewell, Jr. on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to appear. Deputy Runyon arrested Sean L. Shirley on a Hart County warrant for contempt of court-failure to pay. Deputy Wilson arrested James F. Paul on two Hart County warrants both for contempt of court-failure to pay. Deputy Branham transported Gregory M. Martin from Pulaski County Jail to Barren County Jail on two Barren County warrants both for contempt of court.

On Saturday December 11 Deputy Wyatt arrested and charged Jancito L. Fabian with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. Deputy Branham transported Kevin L. Sanders from Barren County Jail to Christian County Jail. Deputy Branham transported Dennis L. Miller from Muhlenberg County Jail to Barren County Jail for Circuit Court appearance.

On Monday December 13 Deputy Thomas served a Taylor County warrant on Jonathan D. Key for theft by deception under $300.

On Tuesday December 14 Deputy Branham transported James L. Stockton from Simpson County Jail to Barren County Jail on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court.

On Wednesday December 15 Deputy Sponhouse served a Metcalfe County indictment warrant on James D. York for manufacturing methamphetamine first offense and first-degree persistent felony offender. Deputy Sponhouse served a Metcalfe County indictment warrant on Kathy D. Smith for manufacturing methamphetamine first offense. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Michelle R. Miller for contempt of court-failure to pay or appear. Deputy Wilson served a Metcalfe County indictment warrant on Michael E. Snowden for custodial interference.

On Thursday December 16 Deputy McCown transported James R. Rugh from Fort Myers, Florida to Barren County Jail on a Barren County indictment warrant for flagrant non-support. Deputy Runyon served a Boone County warrant on Vincent L. Padgett for contempt of court-failure to appear.Deputy Branham served an Allen County indictment warrant on Kelly J. Weger for flagrant non-support.

The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to twenty two wrecks during the week, eighteen of those being non-injury and four resulting with injuries.
