On Friday December 24 Deputy McCown served three Warren County warrants on Angela R. Cross all for contempt of court-failure to appear.
On Saturday December 25 Sheriff Eaton arrested and charged Natalie N. Mitchell with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense and resisting arrest.
On Monday December 27 Deputy Branham transported Justin K. Hammer from Warren County Jail to Barren County Jail on two Barren County warrants both for contempt of court.
On Tuesday December 28 Wilson arrested and charged Joyce A. Stamper with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, disregarding a traffic control device, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense and no or expired KY registration plates. Deputy Runyon arrested and charged Christopher J. Tarry with theft by unlawful taking over $500 (farm equipment). Deputy Runyon arrested and charged James T. Thomas with theft by unlawful taking over $500 (farm equipment). Deputy Wilson arrested Lawrence M. Hulett on a Barren County warrant for probation violation. Deputy Bennett arrested Shane S. Wheat on a Barren County warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle first offense. Deputy Wilson arrested Tommy W. Piercy on a Barren County bond revocation. Deputy Wyatt served a Metcalfe County indictment warrant on Lonnie G. Thompson, Jr. for manufacturing methamphetamine first offense.
On Wednesday December 29 Deputy Houchens arrested and charged Marcus B. Staples with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. A Drug Task Force Detective arrested and charged Tina M. Glass with possession of drug paraphernalia first offense. Deputy Branham transported Brain D. Otten from Taney County, Missouri to Barren County Jail on a Barren County warrant for probation violation.
On Thursday December 30 Deputy Houchens arrested and charged Jimmy R. York with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. Deputy Wilson arrested Heather N. Burd on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to appear.
On Friday December 31 Deputy Kinslow arrested and charged Natalie N. Mitchell with alcohol intoxication in a public place second offense and second-degree disorderly conduct. Deputy Houchens arrested and charged Andrew T. Mutter with alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense. Deputy Wilson arrested Tonya R. Deckard on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to complete community service work or appear as ordered.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to nine wrecks during the week, six of those being non-injury and three resulting with injuries.
