On Friday March 4 Deputy Runyon served an Adair County warrant on Hunter L. Carver for contempt of court.
On Saturday March 5 Sheriff Eaton arrested and charged Richard E. Dicks, Jr. with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespassing and public intoxication. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on James T. Thomas for theft by unlawful taking.
On Monday March 7 Deputy Wyatt served two Barren County indictment warrants on Cheryl L. Rose one for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs fourth or more offense, the other for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs fourth or more offense, third-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving. Deputy Wyatt served a Barren County indictment warrant on Lori L. McCandless for two counts of false statement misrepresentation to receive benefits over $100. Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Alena A. Abston with fourth-degree assault.
On Wednesday March 9 Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Christopher C. Shipley for probation violation. Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Roy N. Brown with operating on suspended or revoked operator's license. Deputy Bennett arrested Mark A. Bellamy on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court.
On Thursday March 10 Deputy Sponhouse arrested and charged Ethan J. Wheeler with reckless driving.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to three wrecks during the week, two of those being non-injury and one resulting with injuries.
