On Saturday February 26 Deputy McCown arrested and charged Kristien D. Galloway with fourth-degree assault. Deputy Runyon arrested Jonathan T. Bailey on a Barren County indictment warrant for receiving stolen property under $10,000, first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief and alcohol intoxication in a public place first offense.
On Monday February 28 Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on Troy E. Keen for manufacturing methamphetamine first offense, receiving stolen property under $10,000 and first-degree persistent felony offender. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on Tony R. Keen for first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance first offense. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on Christopher J. Tarry for theft by unlawful taking and first-degree persistent felony offender. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on Michael S. Smith for first-degree assault (domestic violence) and two counts of third-degree terroristic threatening. Deputy Wilson served an Allen County warrant on James G. Chmiel for contempt of court-failure to appear. Sheriff Eaton served two Warren County warrants on Jennifer L. Deweese both for contempt of court. Sheriff Eaton served a Bell County warrant on Sarah M. Johnson for contempt of court. Deputy McCown arrested Jason V. Wood on a Warren County warrant for contempt of court. Deputy Wyatt served a fugitive warrant from Scott County, Virginia on Brittany L. Cassady.
On Tuesday March 1 Deputy Wilson arrested and charged Nathan L. Emmert with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs (aggravated) second offense, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited and persons 18-20 have another possess or purchase alcohol. Deputy Wilson arrested Corey D. Edwards on a Barren County indictment warrant for receiving stolen property under $10,000 and possession of marijuana.
On Wednesday March 2 Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on Joseph A. Meadows for second-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, third-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree assault and second-degree persistent felony offender. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County indictment warrant on William P. Neurohr for second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, leaving the scene of an accident-failure to render aid or assistance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs (aggravated) first offense, operating on suspended or revoked operator's license, theft by unlawful taking, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited and second-degree persistent felony offender.
On Thursday March 3 Deputy Wilson arrested David N. Bowles on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court-failure to appear. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Joseph H. Caldwell for probation violation. Deputy Wilson served a Clay County, Tennessee warrant on Michael B. Trobaugh for failure to appear.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to six wrecks during the week, four of those being non-injury, one resulting with injuries and one fatality wreck occurred resulting in one death.
