On Friday March 25 Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Wesley R. Green with trafficking in marijuana-less than eight ounces first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (drug unspecified). Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Aaron K. Wright for probation violation. Deputy Wilson served a Warren County indictment warrant on Denzil W. Burton for theft of identity of another without consent, no operators/moped license, giving officer false name or address and first-degree persistent felony offender. Deputy Wilson served a Bullitt County warrant on Sarah J. Bramer for contempt of court.
On Saturday March 26 Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Natalie N. Mitchell with first-degree disorderly conduct. Deputy Bennett arrested Brittany J. Shugart on a Barren County warrant for contempt of court.
On Sunday March 27 Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Adam C. Corzine with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy McCown served four Barren County warrants on James L. Smith all for contempt of court-failure to appear.
On Monday March 28 Deputy Kinslow arrested and charged Douglas W. Miller with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense (aggravated). Deputy Runyon arrested and charged Rebecca S. Ballard with fourth-degree assault. Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Myron H. Mitchell for contempt of court.
On Tuesday March 29 Deputy Runyon arrested and charged Jesse S. Williams with receiving stolen property under $10,000. Deputy McCown arrested and charged Taylor D. Vincent with fourth-degree assault.
On Wednesday March 30 Deputy Wilson served a Barren County warrant on Nicholas N. Percell for contempt of court. Deputy Bennett arrested Larry D. Martin II on a Barren County warrant for impersonating a peace officer. Deputy Houchens arrested Roger D. Moore on a Clinton County warrant for contempt of court-failure to pay.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to fourteen wrecks during the week, twelve of those being non-injury and two resulting with injuries.
