On Friday May 27 Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Jonathon A. Reagan with public intoxication of a controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in original container first offense. Deputy Runyon served a fugitive from another state warrant on James T. Garris. Court Security Deputy Walbert arrested Nicholas P. Collins on a Barren County warrant for second-degree criminal mischief.

On Saturday May 28 Deputy Bow arrested George E. Alexander on a Barren County warrant for fourth-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass.

On Sunday May 29 Deputy Sponhouse arrested and charged John J. Huber with driving on DUI suspended license first offense. Deputy Bennett arrested and charged John R. Evans III with possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Bennett arrested and charged Candace R. Richardson with fourth-degree assault.

On Wednesday June 1 Deputy Houchens arrested and charged Shirley D. Bullington with reckless driving, speeding 26 mph over limit and disregarding a stop sign. Deputy Wilson served two Barren County warrants on Sonya M. Gedda one for contempt of court-failure to comply and or pay the other, an indictment for two counts of false statement/misrepresentation to receive benefits over $100.

On Thursday June 2 Deputy Wilson arrested and charged Sheila H. Logsdon with second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A Drug Task Force Detective arrested and charged Danny C. Winchester with cultivate in marijuana five plants or more first offense, trafficking in marijuana over 8oz first offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A Drug Task Force Detective arrested and charged Katherine L. Winchester with cultivate in marijuana five plants or more first offense, trafficking in marijuana over 8oz first offense, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Barren County Sheriff's Office responded to fifteen wrecks during the week, ten of those being non-injury, five resulting with injuries in which one resulted in two deaths.
