REPORT FROM AUGUST 6, 2009
On Friday July 31st Deputy Runyon arrested and charged Joshua U. Lessenberry with Possession of Marijuana (Enhanced by Firearm), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st offense, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1000 yards of a school (Enhanced by Firearm) and Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol). Lessenberry was also served a Hardin Co. warrant at the time of his arrest for Contempt of Court. Deputy Wilson served a Barren Co. warrant on David R. Heers for Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Deputy Minor arrested Emily L. Deweese and charged her with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 1st offense and Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree. Deputy Minor cited Nathaniel L. Thompson for Reckless Driving and Failure to Illuminate Head Lamps. Deputy Wood responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on Tompkinsville Road. Deputy Branham transported Leroy E. Sparks from Barren Co. Jail to Hickman Co. Jail.
Saturday August 1st Deputy Wilson arrested James H. Edwards III on a Barren Co. warrant for Contempt of Court. Deputy Kinslow arrested Jeremy R. Frye and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st offense. Deputy Minor arrested Jeremy R. Frye and charged him with Giving Officer False Name or Address and Operating on Suspended/Revoked Operators License. Deputy Walden responded to a two vehicle non-injury wreck on Huckleberry Knob Road. Deputy Branham transported Jason L. Gravens from Grayson Co. Jail to Barren Co. Jail.
Sunday August 2nd Deputy Wilson investigated a two vehicle injury wreck on Tompkinsville Road. Deputy Minor arrested Aaron M. Smith on a Barren Co. warrant for Wanton Endangerment 2nd degree, Terroristic Threatening 3rd degree, Harassment-Physical Contact-No Injury and Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree. Deputy Minor arrested Hester M. Likens on a Barren Co. warrant for Assault 4th degree.
Monday August 3rd Deputy McCown arrested David E. White and charged him with Operating on Suspended/Revoked Operators License, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st offense, No or Expired Registration Plate and Failure of Transfer of Vehicle to Promptly Apply for New Title. Deputy Matt Mutter investigated a Hit-and-Run fatality wreck on New Bowling Green Road (Hwy 68/80). Deputy Minor arrested and charged Jessie Haney with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st offense, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st offense, No or Expired KY Registration Receipt, No or Expired Registration Plate and four counts Wanton Endangerment 1st degree, these charges stem from a head-on vehicle collision on Happy Valley Road investigated by Deputy Walden. Detective Anderson arrested Thomas W. Price on one warrant from Floyd, Laurel and Magoffin Counties all for Contempt of Court. Deputy Branham transported Kristopher R. Reece from Hart Co. Jail to Barren Co. Jail. Deputy Branham transported Curtis J. Teague from Warren Co. Jail to Barren Co. Jail.
Tuesday August 4th Deputy Wood responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on Berry Road. Deputy Branham transported one male juvenile from Warren Co. Juvenile Center to K.C.P.C. in Oldham Co.
Wednesday August 5th Deputy Minor arrested Dean A. Baise and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 4st offense, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Resisting Arrest and Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle Prohibited. Baise was also served an Adair Co. warrant at the time of his arrest for Contempt of Court. Deputy Runyon served a Barren Co. indictment warrant on Stephen B. Wooten for three counts; Rape 1st degree victim under 12 years of age, twenty-four counts-Sodomy 1st degree victim under 12 years of age, twenty counts-Incest and seven counts-Incest victim under 12 years of age. Deputy Kinslow served a Warren Co. warrant on Courtnie M. Pruitt for Failure to Pay or Apperar.
Thursday August 6th Detective Anderson arrested Robert A. Shirley on a Barren Co. indictment warrant for Complicity to Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense. Deputy Branham transported Glenda M. Lacey from Wilson Co. TN to Barren Co. Jail; Lacey was then served a Barren Co. warrant for Flagrant Non-Support and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd degree. Deputy Runyon also served a Barren Co. warrant on Lacey for Contempt of Court.¬Ý Deputy Thomas investigated a single vehicle injury wreck on Louisville Road, the driver Robert A. Pedigo was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 1st offense. Deputy McCown responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road.
