REPORT FROM SEPTEMBER 3, 2009

On Friday August 28^th Deputy Wilson arrested Dustin L. Austin on a Warren Co. warrant for Contempt of Court. Deputy McCown arrested Jeremy L. Viers on a Barren Co. warrant for Contempt of Court. Deputy Minor responded to a two vehicle non-injury wreck on Burkesville Road. Deputy Clark responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on Tompkinsville Road. Deputy Kinslow responded to a two vehicle non-injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road. Deputy Branham transported one male juvenile from Barren Co. to Warren Co. Juvenile Center.

On Saturday August 29^th Deputy McCown arrested Roger D. Riddle for Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol). Deputy Kinslow responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road. Deputy Minor responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on Finney Road.

On Sunday August 30^th Deputy Kinslow responded to a single vehicle non-injury wreck on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway.

On Monday August 31^st Deputy Runyon arrested Steven D. Cox on a Barren Co. warrant for two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and two counts of Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm). Deputy Runyon arrested Richard A. Ballard on a Barren Co. warrant for Probation Violation; Ballard was also served a Warren Co. warrant at the time of his arrest for Contempt of Court. Deputy Wilson arrested Jeffery D. Parker on a Barren Co. warrant for Contempt of Court. Deputy Clark arrested Brenda L. Lay on a Barren Co. warrant for Assault 4^th degree. Deputy Runyon investigated a four vehicle injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road.

On Tuesday September 1^st Deputy Branham transported Ricky W. Cardwell Jr. from Warren Co. Jail to Barren Co. Jail. Deputy Branham transported three male juveniles from Warren Co. Juvenile Center to Barren Juvenile Court. Deputy Branham transported Mark A. Bruton from Hart Co. Jail to Barren Circuit Court, then returned Bruton to Hart Co. Jail. Deputy Branham transported Dean A. Baise from Barren Co. Jail to K.C.P.C Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham Co. Deputy Branham transported Jared A. Upton from K.C.P.C Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham Co. to Barren Co. Jail.

On Wednesday September 2^nd Deputy McCown arrested Charles J. Clay on a Clark Co. warrant for Assault 2^nd degree. Deputy Runyon arrested Carrie J. Brooks on a Clinton Co. warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking. Deputy Runyon arrested Melissa C. Lauderdale on a Clinton Co. warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking and Persistent Felony Offender 2^nd degree. Deputy Wilson investigated a three vehicle injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road.

On Thursday September 3^rd Deputy Runyon served a Grayson Co. indictment warrant on Chuck P. Fuqua for Burglary 2^nd degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking. Deputy Runyon arrested Robert C. Kelley Jr. on three warrants one from Warren, Edmonson and Bullitt Counties all for Contempt of Court. Deputy Wilson investigated a single vehicle injury wreck on Poplar Springs Road. Deputy Runyon responded to a two vehicle non-injury wreck on Siddens Road. Deputy McCown responded to a two vehicle non-injury wreck on New Bowling Green Road. Deputy Wilson transported Gary S. Hall from Monroe Co. Jail to Barren Co. Jail.

The Barren County Sheriff's Department will be stepping up patrols throughout the campaign in the following areas that are, but will not be limited to: 31E South, 31E North, 31W, Highways: 70, 90, 87, 249, 685, 255, 314
